I really don't think there will be both "Ninja" and "Assassin"... because a Ninja IS an Assassin. there's little difference.

And, don't tell me difference is one is a tank because it literally doesn't make any sense to have both Ninja and Assassin unless maybe it goes Assassin into Ninja.

It could work assassin could be the class and ninja could be the job. Yes I know ninjas are assassins but if you look at the character 007 he is a spy/trained assassin.

Well can tell you the difference between Ninja and Assassin but I doubt you will like my answer.

Ninja - Unseen when they kill, so when the target dies you will just see the target drop dead.

Assassin- They are seen when they kill, so when the target dies you will see someone go up and kill that person.

But all jokes aside Ninja being an Job upgrade for Assassin seems like a good suggestion.

These are the most hilariously non-objective definitions of 'Ninja' and 'Assassin' I have ever read. Seriously, I don't even know what basis in fiction they have, let alone reality.

FFS NINJAS ARE NOT TANKS.

^This. When I keep seeing people say 'tank ninja' I'm like.. wtf huh? Since when have Ninja ever been tanks? They're pure evade, crit-heavy, burst DPS. Really, imho, the Global Cooldown and weak, brief buff systems that FFXIV uses is insufficient for the type of bursty DPS some classes (such as Ninja) should be. I have never, ever played a game that had so many abilities share a global or that had so few long-term buffs before I played this game. It boggles my mind.
