If a party kicked a RDM because he or she didn't have staff that is very childish.

Gladiator with Thaumaturge for Dark Knight (DPS.) Level 30 job skill Blood Oath changes bonus emnity generation into stacks that increase attack and magic power at the cost of doing DoT to self. The other 4 skills can focus on doing interesting things those stacks.
Pugilist with Arcanist for Puppetmaster (Hybrid) with a ranged attack pet, an area control pet (paralysis, bind, slow, that sort of thing) or a support pet that hands out buffs and heals.
Lancer with Gladiator for a Hoplite styled tank job. I don't think it has any precedent in FF but I still think it would be cool.
Musketeer with main hand pistol and off hand rapier branching into Red Mage (Hybrid of DPS and support skills like Bard) and Chemist (Healer.)
Hypothetical Scout class branching into Thief (not sure) and Ninja (DPS)

Geomancer seems pretty cool for Conjurer, but I hope my favourite FF job makes it to the game, which is Green Mage.
Buffs/debuffs seem evenly distributed among all classes though, so I'm not sure if it could work, but I like supporting throught buffs more than simply healing and I hope a job like that will come eventually.

Here's something for Marauder that I posted in an earlier job speculation thread, one that I would quite like to see.
Also it may be a bit out of the ordinary, but I'd quite like to see Necromancer from Final Fantasy V make a debut. Partly because it could have some interesting summoning mechanics, but also 'cause the class quests could have a lot of potential thanks to Sil'Dih's Lore.Beastmaster - Damage dealer who fights alongside beasts to deal damage. These pets are tamed in the open-world and then summoned later into battle. The role of the "pet" during a fight depends on the type of beast tamed. [In case you're wondering, Beastmaster was alluded to back in 1.0. There exists a group of women in Ishgard who have the ability to tame wild beasts.]

Oh... I just realized... Musketeer is going to be Orator as Job...
[Source]
Summoner is already here, taming however... Orator used Guns in tactics, as well as taming enemies (amongst other status effects). The glove fits. Very old information, I'll admit, but it's still the only hint about new Classes/Jobs we've got. Certainly fits Yoshidas comment about how it will be unexpected. So far all the Jobs have been FFIII/V era classics, Orator would be the first throwback to Tactics.New summoning ability available to certain jobs and classes after version 2.0.
New taming ability available to certain jobs and classes after version 2.0.
Release timing of the above abilities is to coincide with addition of new jobs and classes.
Summoned and tamed pets will not count as party members, and will develop over time. Release of a
"companion" system for these pet NPCs to fight alongside PCs.

since he start I had said that this gun job should be orator or chemist (not sure if I said it in this thread though). Make it happen please
hmm there are a few things here but..
No class with a whip has been advertized yet, so it's very unlikely to happen :/ On the other hand, beastmasters are known to be able to use axes, so maybe they could come from marauder right ?
On the blue mage, they use generally sabers, or eventually a gun (for gun mage). They are also heavily focused on getting monsters abilities, but there are some classics that aren't even in the game for now :/ (due to the fact that the monsters having them aren't here yet)
Mother isn't here yer, nor mighty guard. Twister is OP as hell. Bad breath and stare would be nice to see though
But well, we first need monsters able to use these spells in order to use them. Only other solution would be that every job quest makes you encounter one of the iconic monsters in order to get their powers (dragon for mother, etc...)

Blue Mages generally use sabers? Isn't FF11 and Tactics the only instances ever, where a Blue Mage is restricted to a saber? Throughout Final Fantasy Blue Mages use a variety of different weapons, and are played very differently. Strago Magus in FF6 used a magic rod, in FF8 Quistis Trepe used a whip, Quina Quen uses a fork in FF9, and Kimahri Ronso uses a Lance in FF10 -- So it's pretty clear that they have a lot of different directions they could go with it. And the same could be said for Monster Tamers and Beast Masters as well. :P
Considering how many liberties they've taken, and the strides made to eliminate the similarities between the jobs from the two MMOs, I don't think we should expect carbon copy jobs from 11.
While I agree that we haven't seen a lot of the iconic monsters that the Blue Mage's learn their abilities from, they have plenty of time to create a storyline and introduce the monsters when the new jobs/classes are eventually patched in. And part of the questline for Blue Mage could be running around having to collect those spells from monsters.

Additional jobs to be introduced:
Conjurer--------Geomancer
Thaumaturge---TimeMage
Gladiator-------no clue. Dark Knight maybe. Red Mage maybe.
Marauder-------Beast master
Pugalist---------Puppeteer
Lancer----------no clue. None at all. Free'lancer' maybe?
Archer----------Hunter/Ranger. Pet class with a bow.
Weapons to be introduced:
Foil--------------Red Mage (f not a Gladiator job). Maybe RuneFencer.
Greatsword-----RuneFencer / Dark Knight
1h Axe----------Beastmaster (whip offhand) or Hunter
GreatKatana----Samurai, duh
Dagger----------Thief class > Ninja/Dancer jobs, possibly assassin
Silks-------------Alternate Dancer job or offhand(shuriken and silks offhand for ninja or dancer would be neat)
Mace/Club------no clue. This is usually a WHM weapon.
Skythe----------another Dark Knight possibility
Rifles------------Musketeer, Hunter possibly
Pistols-----------alt Musketeer, Chemist, Machinist, Corsair/Gambler
More jobs, no idea what weapons they'd use:
Blue Mage
Mimic/Mime

lancer => templar. Maybe the best fitting guess
Mimes however don't use weapons. They just repeat the last action used, be it by allies or enemies. I can't see that job coming in a MMO due to the awkward mess it would be. Imagine it using twister on its allies again ?
