Tank mounts the good and bad

i was a lil disapointed that they gated the tnk mounts behind coil an ex-primals, as i only really use my tnk for regular dungeons, an dps for the harder stuff. i honestly dont see the point, if the goal was to get more tnks in df, then why lock the rewards behind the 2 things that are commonly not done through the df lol

Lol I agree. That is such a huge oversight. Coil/primal groups are not helping queues, don't even see the point of the mounts if they don't apply to helping df times. The mounts don't create more people tanking, just rewards those who already do. Someone didn't think this through.

Agree, it doesn't makes sense at all... I have been tank during moooonths, only using tank classes... Which is my progress in that achievement? zero. Because no coil or ex primals

That's kind of exactly it. As a higher-level tank I just don't have any pressing need to do more Ex primals or Coil1. Especially in a DF situation where there aren't greed loot rules or something to help me gear off-classes. It's just not very worth my frustration and time. Maybe if they had a roulette bonus opportunity.
