Tank mounts the good and bad

Strange, but dps queue times for Ex primals (Garuda and Titan confirmed) are very long. And when I'm first in queue, group in DF looks like 0\2 2\2 4\4 for a long time (20 min to be first on queue and 20 min to find that 2 tanks). Nobody wants that mount after all?

nah if you are gonna spam anything for the mount it would either be a normal t2 party or t4 party, since they are the fastest.

Those fights are in excess of 10-13mins easily in DF and most PF groups. T4 is the fastest run < 5mins. Also most tanks don't need the Garuda ring and in DF are not likely to get a ring they do want, and Titan is such a crap shoot due to people being absolutely terrible. There is zero mystery behind long queue times for Ex Primals. I'll PF it or run with my LS. It's faster and more likely a win.

How does this solve the problem? Me playing on my tank is going to magically make the tanks that I am talking about quit the game or start tanking better? Me tanking wouldn't help the other people experiencing the same thing. And if you meant to say it would solve my problem, it wouldn't either. If you read my OP you would see that I used to play tank but enjoy playing DPS more. So me having to play a class I am no longer interested in would create another problem.

i was a lil disapointed that they gated the tnk mounts behind coil an ex-primals, as i only really use my tnk for regular dungeons, an dps for the harder stuff. i honestly dont see the point, if the goal was to get more tnks in df, then why lock the rewards behind the 2 things that are commonly not done through the df lol

Agree, it doesn't makes sense at all... I have been tank during moooonths, only using tank classes... Which is my progress in that achievement? zero. Because no coil or ex primals

Why would I want to tank coil 200 times? I'll likely have all the gear I need from it in much less then that. Same for primals. They should at least include all lvl 50 dungeons.

A friend of mine said he ran into the same issue with one tank. He's been having good luck as well, but he told me a story very similar to yours. They tried to provide tips, etc, but they would just go and auto attack, and not use any skills, weird.

The factor affecting queue times are the 4.5k gil per dungeon, the fact that myth comes in fairly low amounts, and the ps4 release. Combine all those and you are going to be seeing more tanks not up to par.

The idea to get more Tanks into DF was to up the rewards for Tanks.

The idea to get more Tanks into XM Primals and Coil was to add the Mounts. But the fact remains that most of the good tanks have already cleared all of the Primals and early Coil Turns for their loot and have moved onto the new progression content. That and the fact that both of the Mounts are pretty bad.
