Tank mounts the good and bad

No it didn't. The Daily Roulette reward for tanks was drastically increased. That's why people are running these. To make 6k on one run just from bonuses.

While that may be true I highly doubt that farming a half hour dungeon for a lousy 6k gil (What do you even need gil for anyway in this game?) is the reason behind this rush of NEW tanks. Pretty sure it's people who want the mount. Either way back to the subject, there are quite a few tanks out there running low level dungeons who are ONLY USING AUTO ATTACKS and it's starting to get frustrating.

How does this solve the problem? Me playing on my tank is going to magically make the tanks that I am talking about quit the game or start tanking better? Me tanking wouldn't help the other people experiencing the same thing. And if you meant to say it would solve my problem, it wouldn't either. If you read my OP you would see that I used to play tank but enjoy playing DPS more. So me having to play a class I am no longer interested in would create another problem.

It may not be the entire reason sure, but at the same time it is indeed part of the reason. I know several people in my FC who ONLY use their tanks to hop in and make that easy 6k. So yes, it does happen.
