haha sorry but I don't have a attitude but you look like you do, I don't get bent out of shape on video games.Your attitude lies within your, "If you want Atmas, you HAVE to do this cause it worked for me." RNG is RNG, now move along before you make yourself look much more foolish.
Besides, I do 20 FATE a day, if that and could care less if I get an Atma. It's just a nice bonus if I do. I have said the drop rates seem a bit off, but I haven't said it is something horrendous. Quite frankly, this system already is in place within an instance as well... The Whorl Mirror, you do not see as many people complain about it however, because they can get i95 weapons and feel satisfied with just that.
You're right, but your direction is skewed. First off, RNG is a terrible way to lock someone out from completing a quest, let alone advancing in one. Secondly, the quest design itself is terrible. Having people grind something that they've been saying is boring/unfun/mindless and despised being forced to do (like CT quests.. that were only 4 FATES), for a minute chance that they might obtain one out of twelve items that they need in order to start on another quest that requires copious amounts of time to complete. All this coupled with the fact that RNG does its job far too well and creates an unfair rift where people can get the item in 4 hours while others (like me) literally take 72 hours to get all 12 of their atma. Causing further discord within the community because lucky person A got his in 4 hours while frustrated unlucky person B had to farm 18 times longer to advance to the same part in the quest, now farther behind due to the design itself.Did I say it's too hard? I didn't say it was but people are asking for other means of getting it besides fates or higher drop rate to make it easy. dungeons will just make it even longer. SE said it would be a long process. so anything they change it too will be longer to get, fates are best option.
Completely fair, how could I have second-guessed your amazing wisdom /sarcasm.
We don't want it easy.
We don't want it monotonous.
We want a fair system in place that shows progress. Something you can say "I'll make sure to complete this much of this portion of this quest today, and go do something else" and actually complete something and move closer to the final goal rather than never knowing if you're any closer to your next Atma at the 10th hour of grinding Outer La Noscea than you were at your first. By all means, make it a grind. But make it fair and meaningful, not something people get by being "lucky".

"HAHAHAHA!!! So, it's FATEs you want! HAHAHA! We'll give you PLENTY of it *hic*!"
The way we keep being pointed towards FATEs over and over again just reminds me of this old cartoon, Pigs is Pigs (1937).

Complaints for the system can be summed up as follows:
-It's not fun it's boring monotonous and extremely time consuming
-The extreme nature of the RNG involved makes it so that it is quite possible for some players to never see all twelve atmas or get all twelve with minimal effort.
-Alternative paths to the relic quest are locked behind top tier content that many players will never see. Don't wanna grind animus? New Binding Coil for High Allagan weapon or weathered weapons. Or if that doesn't float your boat pray to another RNG God to drop a mirror from Leviathan EX for a wave weapon.
Hope on the horizon? Wait till next patch when they'll ease the drop rates and the next step becomes available unfortunately. Though let's hope they take these feedback threads on board for future content.

After completing my Animus I've gotta just 1 thing.
Tanks in low level dungeon need a buff to enmity. They can't keep up with all the synced ilvl90+ DPS and Healers that crit back to back. It's an issue that should be looked into. Especially if you're gonna introduce a new Tank class and players are still farming for their books.
I am not bent out of shape over it, and every dialect has attitude, written or spoken. Yours shows an attitude of arrogance, but I digress and do not wish to derail the thread.
Back towards the subject at hand, just set a certain amount of time or a certain amount of FATE to do daily, and if you get it, you get it. Yes, many wish to be done as many were lucky enough to get all twelve day one, but it is not something to stress over.
i actually agree with you on this. might be the way he use his word.. or just the way he act show an air of arrogance.I am not bent out of shape over it, and every dialect has attitude, written or spoken. Yours shows an attitude of arrogance, but I digress and do not wish to derail the thread.

Anyway i can vouch for that 12 in a day and zero for ages.... and that is sadly what we are trying to point out and yet many don't understand

This i totally agree.. even titan it can be down with practice and effort.. and RNG is just.. RNG.. i mean there is alot of method to do this gate.. and RNG is.... BADIndeed, every patch feels like it was rushed..in just some way. Heck even the 2.0 "update" felt like some stuff was a rush job, the relics were the "perfect pace" to push people through it compared to XI/1.x, but in the end it kinda felt like some stuff was thrown in for the sake of it, much like Atmas - Some FATEs you can get them don't even correlate to the zodiac sign lol.
The animus progression is honestly what a lot of people expected even for the first relic (since it was kind of like the 1.x version of the relic) so that part is fine, just the Atmas, much like Titan, was clearly meant to "gate" it which will keep people "busy" - That's the problem with this kind of patch design, instead of making something that is truly lasting, they'll block progress by either extreme RNG, Weekly lockouts or gated behind other stuff some people haven't cleared, e.g you have a large amount of people who didn't clear the first set of extreme primals and in order to do Leviathan or Moogle ex, you need to clear the first "ex primal quest."
This isn't going away S-E.
