My my, sounds awfully hypocritically of you. So, you claim you make them for free for your friends, but someone else, who is not your friend, who is having a hard time affording them is lazy and wants a hand out.
I've got a crafter connection so I'm not having to pay MB prices but the mess of needing grade 1 of this and grade 3 of that, more grade 3 of different crafts and grade five of something else is a pain in the ass.
Oh, it is mind numbingly boring. You sit in one spot and either quick synth a ton of items (and have some of which fail, wasting your mats) or you sit there and hammer a few buttons while banging your head against your desk to stay awake. But hey, my not wanting to do this 1-50 on 5 or 6 crafting classes is me just being lazy!
I have never ONCE complained about a dead market (and challenge you to find a post where I have), in fact, I could care less how cheap stuff goes for. Allows everyone to be able to buy whatever they want. So, you can take your accusations elsewhere. Then buy them. Why is it so hard to understand that if you don't want to or can't make something, you have to trade with others in the form of gil or items for what you want? People QQ about dead market cause nothing the DoW and DoM needs are tradable and now you complain that some people actually make money off of you deciding not to level craft?
Congratulations. You're about to join the side that you hate.
making gil is ridiculously easy in this game.
on Goblin, glamour spheres are at most 5k...
Try on your outfits before you buy glamour... Is it really that difficult of a concept?
Yep, still lazy and looking for a hand out. The best solution is to level crafters yourself (its much easier and faster to do that than level DoW or DoM classes), or, since this is an MMO...make friends...but no, no one can spend the time to do that, especially with someone who is willing to make crafts cheap for people.
BTW, while I will give my friends these things (and others) for low-to-no upfront cost, they do things for me back. A trade of services, and token of friendship. Some give me mats if I need them, so I give them crafted items if they need them, others help me with farming things, etc.
My Pug is level 20. I've been waiting to finish leveling him so I could use the Bohemian set the rest of the way to 50. So, my choices are to spend 25-50K on some crappy level 20 gear and then stick with this crappy gear all the way to 50 (gimping every group I join) or spend an additional 5-10K every time an upgrade drops for me. Or, I can do what I now have to, just forget the idea of looking how I want because I can't stand the fact that greedy crafters own this QoL feature.
My only problem with the glamour system (aside from the convoluted way you even glamour... a vanity tab would have worked so much better but that's besides the point. I'm glad crafters are finally able to make something that sells decently at least) is, like Naunet said, the ridiculous restrictions placed upon it.
The entire system could have been done a lot better, but aside from the multitude of idiotic restrictions placed on it, I have no real problem with how it's done.
