I doubt we'll see changes. There was a huge outcry about housing and in the end those who wanted it put their heads down as a group and got on with it. I suspect this will be the same.
This patch seems to be about slowing players down a lot. Crafters, gatherers and those working on relics have all been slowed down. You can no longer spam quests and fights to complete a relic for every class or be effective in every craft.
I have mixed feelings about it. The crafting stuff has really got me down, the relic weapon quest bothers me less. I do agree though that it should be slightly less random on the drop rate for atma or that your chance of getting the atma rises per kill. /shrug, they had to slow us down at some point.

They actually did some minor adjustments on the house prices, nothing really drastic but they did.
And I do expect them to also do something about this as people are genuinely getting angry, no, furious, and for good reason.
While I do not mind the FATE aspect of the grind as much as other people do, this is nothing short of extreme and unless something is done on the abysmal droprate this is ultimately going to be a showstopper for a lot of people regardless of the other fantastic stuff they have added this update.

The problem isn't the second part of the quest. It has got sense. You grind, and the more u play and you farm, the more your weapon becomes stronger.
The first part of the quest gives you a weapon with the same stats of your zenith. After hours of grinding fates. No sense. Cause there are people that in one day finish, there are people like me unlucky. And honestly, i won't continue the quest if they don't fix it.

worst thing about those abyssmal drop rates is that i was forced twice now to get something for myth tomes cause otherwise I'd be capped and i can't buy the books in advance...

you could just have sit on your 2k myth just like I did, because I wanted to have those extra 500..
Well, this atma farm isn't slowing anyone down if you ask me. It's just like "well, there went my weekend of, you know, things that are actually fun to do".
if anything, this took less time than it did for me to get my relic. in a few weeks just about everyone who even cared about upgrading their relic is going to have an animus weapon.
some people already have em and i'm sure that if i no lifed on myth grinding as hard as i did on atma grinding i'd be able to get it done in a few days. I mean shit, look at how many philo tomes you needed to be in full DL.
i'm honestly always surprised at how relic weapons and their acquisition or improvement never have anything to do with raiding.
I don't want atma upgrade for free, but the drop rate is retarded. It stinks grinding old FATEs for 8+ hours, watching some twerp derp-stumble into your party, into the ass end of a FATE with a train of aggro in tow and get his drop. "1/1 Woot!" ">.>, grats." I've been stuck at Camp Drybone for three days. I saw people with atma weapons Saturday morning. I suspect their success is a combination of limitless free time and ridiculously dumb luck. Jealous much? Yeah, I'm jealous. LOL.
I know alot of players in my Ls are not going for Atma, purely because its just a colored version. They rather grind Leviathan infinitely for a new model then have a reused model.

i think if SE fix it in a quest where you farm the 12 zone for a list of fate and after you complete that fate with glod medal you can have atma as a reward (but only one of all 12 atma) i think this way can be axpetable for all no ? because yuo must repeate all 12 zone for all you relic adn SE is happy because you do fate player is happy because they don't go in a sanatoriium what you think ppl ?
