Feedback Regarding the Relic Upgrade Quest

The FATE is painful. That's just RNG being RNG it sucks but a certain vocal group insists on people not being able to obtain certain gear because of petty reasons. This affects everyone even the whiners but it wont stop people that can be dedicated regardless of rage and anger getting in the way to be able to complete this.

Many people already have their atma's and many are still working on it.

That certain group did nothing but make their own grind a piece of work. My first animus is only books away myth grind and the book grind aren't so bad. Yet I keep going at my own pace.

you definitely have more chance of getting it with less people on the fate, dont ask me how or why but theres been enough evidence out there to suggest such. They just need to come out and say whats the deal instead of making people lose countless hours in their life.

Wouldn't that be the players who are the ones making themselves grind something for countless hours of their lives?

As for a dev response, I don't really see a need for one honestly. And if they did come out and say, "Yes, you have a better chance of getting one if there are less people participating." it wouldn't make the people who are trying to grind it go away. They want their relic progression.

I think the point was more that... so would everyone else. Anyway, personally I've experienced really crap drops while solo, and much better ones while in a group. I think the drop rates may be the same, and it's more of a "whatever seems to work for you" deal. Kinda like how some people have a lucky pair of socks, or a lucky rabbit's foot. I've seen claims that zone hopping often yields better results, being the most recent person invited to a group, or being in a full group is better. That higher level fates have a higher drop rate, and that not being in a group has a better chance. The claims are really all across the board.

It appears that the less people there is at a fate, the more chance you will get it if it drops. It's not a absolute chance of it dropping to my knowledge but it will help. Simply wait til the grinding dies down. Surprised I was able to test this in N Shroud today.

All the talk about more chances if his happens or that happens is all speculation and nothing eles.

Anyone who has ever done crafting or gathering in this game will tell you the RNG here is really funny.

There is no better chance if your soloing or if your in a group or if 50 people or 3 people are doing the same fate. Its all "RNG". Everything posted here is anecdotal evidance.

I aleady done all my Atma for my Bard and is now farming the Myth needed for the books. See you all in HM Brayflox farming the 1st 2 bosses.

here from my experience
solo = take me 3 days to get 1 atma
party or 2 ~3 =less than 1 hour to get 1 atma
party or 7~8= now that epic rng

im maybe wrong and pure lucky but it still from my experience

so SE wants me to do fates for who knows how long and for what? change the color of my chicken on a stick? and you want me to pay for this? there's zero sense of accomplishment or growth, this is not grind and this game is not an rpg. ef this, i can bang my head on a wall for free and then change the color of my shirt after some random amount of time for free.
