    I'm partially color blind myself and I don't like the new color to the aoes. It blends in with all the other fancy affects from other player's attacks and abilities. There were times when the red one was hard to see but generally that only happened when it was on a weird terrain like water or on a slope (which the new one is still sometimes tough to see in those same situations) I think a red pulsing option would be ideal but that's probably just me :3

    Personally I much prefer the new AoE indicators. They seem a lot neater and clearer than the previous indicators.

    the change is great in my humble opinion as it helps make the game better for many players, but i have noticed that there are major issues with it.

    1. in certain areas (and camera views) AoE is now pretty much invisible. i was doing my hunter log yesterday and i kept getting hit and couldnt figure out what the issue was, turned out it was my (normal for me) camera angle mixed with the water making the AoE virtually invisible. when it was red, water never seemed to really affect the indicator at any angle.

    2. pulses can make it very misleading on when to go back in resulting in players sometimes getting hit, it sometimes looks as if the effect has expired, you move in and Bam, another pulse and AoE effect in the face.

    3. other players AoE can sometimes confuse your AoE indicator resulting in a very bad hit that you thought you avoided (quarrymill fate and leve farming anyone).

    My suggestion would be to have a thin black or dark blue border around the bright orange glow so there is some contrast to make it pop out while also making the AOE indicators visible on any surface no matter what color or brightness it is.

    I understand problems of color blind people, but if you decide to make changes to accomodate color blind people's needs, you should consider impact of doing so for non color blind people. Works the same for all kinds of changes, not only in this particular instance.
    Like now, AoE indicators have exactly same colour as Flaming Arrow and ground target for Shadow Flare and Sacred Soil etc.

    Excellent! Thank you for taking notice of this issue - this new effect is really throwing me.

    In the future, can options designed for folks with disabilities always be toggleable, and preferably off by default?
