It's really hard to gauge #s or % affected when these forums aren't the entire player base. There are also other methods via SE tech support: phone, web, live chat web, and in game. There are also customers out there that just walk away and/or previous negative experiences with the company were the last straw.

There has been a connectivity issue for many players since the character position update in instances change. There are already many threads in tech support on the issue, with customers giving as much info as they can. This is over the last 50+ days many reporting have been affected.

You are not coming off the wrong way at all. There are many that post in the general forums out of frustration, some for more visibility and link to tech forums, or just general conversation to ask if its just them or others have the same problem.
