Make the Weddings into Raids

This would be such an awesome event! Think about it, your wedding guests would be your raid party aaaaaand you have you kill some monster that tries to stop your wedding. Drops would be completely vanity but they would the most ultimate swag. Perhaps the wedding rings could attain a glow effect like the Zenith Relics. This could also help liven the crafter community by adding more recipes like wedding cakes, bridesmaids dresses, grooms suits, dyes, furnishings, plated decorations, etc. Perhaps including a crafted 2 person mount for a wedding carriage. There would also be a range of styles to customize the experience from affordable to OMGICANTBELIEVEYOUSPENTTHATMUCHGILL. There would also be easy, hard and extreme modes for weddings. Drops would be the same but maybe an additional vanity item for each different level of difficulty for helping the couple really make that day special. I know this game is big on gender locks and stuff but perhaps removing gender restriction on this event for players would be beneficial, mainly because sometimes couples like to play the same genders. Come on EORZEA, lets get hitched!

Even if it's strictly vanity it's still unfair to put things behind stupid crap like in-game marriage, if you want "marriage only" things you go play an F2P game that charges for marriage.
Many people don't wanna get married in a game, especially to some random feck who could be some sorta stalker or a serial killer.(or even worse some stupid spoiled 12 year old)
I got married in a game once and it sucked cause that female dog was batshit crazy and thought it was feckin real.

That sounds like a neat idea for a group "wedding" but the current system wouldn't allow specifying 2 players out of the party. Hmm, maybe if there are two (or more?) triggers at the end that have to be pulled at the same time that might do it but then there is the issue of someone else (!) grabbing one of the triggers.
It would also make the content inaccessible for more casual players, which kind of defeats the purpose of the content. Having difficulty modes would help, but there will still be people who want the simple hand-binding ceremony.

I think I just really like the idea of fighting an animated cake monster with frosting attacks. Not sure how it would fit into the lore though...
