There are other reports out there of people being banned for using Windower...
Windower was more than just a tool to let you alt-tab without crashing.

A thread from 2006 with 4 responses and no conversations with GMs talking about Windower.

You're right: Windower allowed you to add more lines to your macros and allowed you to view party TP: something that should have been there to begin with.

None of those could be detected by SE because they made no alteration to FFXI just like parsers can not be detected by SE because they make no alteration to FFXIV.

I doubt SE will ever release a parser. Just wait until they allow in-game addons; most likely someone will make one.

Actually, I'm curious to why you want to restrict it to raid leaders. Maybe in your own static you will think it will work very well and are projecting, but I have objections for the reason that you assume the raid leader knows best.

I don't get why you would purposefully introduce a tool that allows people to check their DPS etc but then restrict it to 1/8th of the group.
