And I think what the OP is asking for is it not being a bannable offense to tell someone their dps, which I personally don't have a problem with as long as it's not harassing said person. Saying, "Hey, your dps sucks you @#$%ing suck, you should kill yourself" would definitely be abuse. However saying, "hey, your dps is a bit low, what rotation are you using? Ideally you should be at ### to get past this phase of the fight."

I don't really get your argument now anyway. It's lazy to have an in game parser that's within game rules, but not lazy to use third party software for parsing to do the same thing you would with an in-game parser?

I was kind of vague of what I was trying to show but I don't think we need an in-game parser. It would certainly be very helpful for calculating tricky classes' dps (looking at you, SMN) but what we have now is definitely good enough. Although, I heard a rumour that SE already has an in-game parser they just have to turn it on (probably based on the PvP one). If that's the case..just flip the on-switch and ban any 3rd party versions.

I don't really like the idea of it being limited to FC raids. That seems a little unnecessary since you can just use the 3rd party ones, which as long as you don't do non-ToS stuffs, you won't get banned or warned. That and FC members generally don't break down into chronic depression when you tell them they need to pick up the slack.
