[Suggestion] Introduce Raid Leader in-game Parser.

Have you read the opening post? I'm assuming no, because what you wrote does not make sense. Please go back and read it then come back and tell us how much you hate for your own FC coil group to see your DPS.

No I get it but it will be used not as intended, you might but others will miss use it.

SE can develop the tool to be in game working only under the conditions I listed in the opening post.

Check this out, I see people saying that weak low dps and under geared armor players ruin the game for them, yet every time I am in a party I see someone under geared they live longer than these players but they still choose to blame them because they died.
These are the excuses I see.
1. You didn't dps the monster enough.
2. You are taking too much dmg
3. Why did I die stupid party
4. You all suck vote for kick

Like I said SE wouldn't do that for anyone, hell I think people were asking for something in FFXI back then but never got it either.

Again, if any of this is happening with your premade raid group (which it isn't) then you really need to find another group.

The developers have the option to make these kind of tools off limits for duty finder/party finder groups and general play if they wish. For static groups that often raid together there'd be numerous benefits if we had these kind of tools in game and with what the OP is proposing it wouldn't affect the casual player in the slightest.

I would absolutely be on board with a SE approved parser. Both for personal/solo use to fine tune a rotation and for raid leader use for a FC premade group.

Keep in mind that 3rd party parsers aren't even an option for those of us on PS3. I'm always striving to optimise my rotation on my DPS classes and would love the tool. In addition I can think of a few specific instances where a static member of my group with very high level gear was struggling with the basic rotation.

The idea of keeping such a useful tool out of our hands because it will be abused by the few who will abuse anything seems overly cautious.

Actually, I'm curious to why you want to restrict it to raid leaders. Maybe in your own static you will think it will work very well and are projecting, but I have objections for the reason that you assume the raid leader knows best.

In my experience sometimes raid leaders are the ones letting the group down, and are already using the skill of their members and their power as a leader to hide their own lacking ability. If they play dps and only they can see the parser then this just adds to the unfortunate situation. These sorts of groups are dead-end groups and it takes weeks of 0 progression for people to realize it, it's why I favor total transparency so no one in the group is above criticism.

Also I mentioned it before but there are t5 farmers out there that don't play in statics, rather in loosely formed, closed circles of players. The idea of exclusive leader functions seems to assume everyone is in a static. What do you think of these two points?

They kind of promised us more development along these lines too yet haven't delivered.

I wouldn't worry about parsing. None of the current parsers alter the game's memory and, therefore, SE can't detect it less you mention it in chat. If a DPS is doing bad DPS, just tell him (while you know it's kind of silly) that you noticed he wasn't far up on the enmity bar and didn't use quelling strikes. Kind of hint that you know his DPS is bad and have actual numbers without saying so.

The same story with Windower as well. SE never officially endorsed it yet they never banned players for using it, either since..you know..it's kind of important to be able to alt tab out of a game. lol
