[Suggestion] Introduce Raid Leader in-game Parser.

Definitely NO to this. Also DPS arent afraid of anything cuz they always blame Tanks or Healers when things go bad. The only thing I wish is that SE stop making more and more DPS test/runs fights like Ultima, Thornmarch, ALL Extremes, Titan HM, Coil 4 and 5.

If i cause something to go wrong i always take the blame. I never pass blame.

Though there are bad players who should be told, "Please you need to dodge" or "Our dps seems really low.." too many people abuse parsers. The only time I hear people talk about parsers in my pt it's to call out someone or kick them and call then names. Theres just too much abuse for it. -IF- I had one (not saying I do) I would use it to test -my- skills to the rest of the party and I think what SE was getting at is thats okay, however kicking someone saying they sucked or were lowest parse is where SE can see it as abusing. I was even once called out for a bad parse because during titan ex as a BLM I had to move and cancel too many spells. More often then not I join a group do ok ( i think) and some other DPS is called on it and kicked out.

We all want to win and a bad player can hold a team back but ive seen better results trying to help that person know how to get better then telling them to uninstall and making fun of them before you kick them. These people deserve to be reported for harassment and if it leads to a ban well, they kinda deserved it.

I wonder how many people that want to run parsers are or have been in upper management (and likely are terrible). You can run numbers all day but unless you have the logic and knowledge to identify issues outside of your spreadsheet you may as well use it for toilet paper. Every good leader knows that you need to communicate with your team when things seem amiss, everyone has an off day sometimes or can use some handy advise.

I've met extremely few people who are responsible enough analyze data from a parser and make valid objective points with said information. SE will like never endorse one and they are far more likely to make this community more toxic than it has already become.

Couldnt really think of a good reason why people wouldnt want parsers unless they didnt want other people to know that they're bad

if you're i80+ and is/are still doing sub 200 DPS then you shouldnt spoil the fun of 7 other players

I agree Abigs, so they can judge people on performance and boot them cause let's face it they aren't using it to look at their own stats like I see people say all the time, though on the other half about the equal amount say they were kicked for low dps, gee I wonder why. You know they just want to have parser so they can kick out people, what else reason would you want something like that?

It wouldn't make sense because if the person has same gear and doesn't set up his stats like you hes crap? get out of here with that mess, yeah you are marked as an elitist because you don't hear normal players complain about having a parser's so they can see do you? no because they do things legit instead of keeping track of damage with a program.

This isn't about parsing in duty finder or pick up groups, the OP is talking about parsing within our FC's premade raid groups.

If you go into duty finder Titan Story Mode with a parser and start laying into people that aren't pulling their weight then you're most likely scum and should be reported for harassment but my raid group happen to have the luxury of being mature (me withstanding ofc) and the capability to communicate like adults (again me withstanding).

Still don't get it? This is about static raid groups having access to important information without having to rely on third party software.

If we're gonna let the trolls dictate what is/isn't useful in the game and let it restrict access to tools that could benefit our raids then we might as well call it a day right now.

I don't understand why the rest of you don't get it. There is no harassment or abuse when the tool is made available to a static groups for the Raid leader use only. If you think your Raid leader going to harass you and/or kick you then you are in the wrong group in the first place and should look for a better Raid leader.
