Certain situations i get the same thing. Also the mention of you being a passenger in a car> i also get sick so always must drive.
If i start to get sick on any game i usually will stop for the day

That's not a very nice thing to say... Just wondering, how would you feel if you were that guy that had those circumstances? Or maybe your child or another loved one had what you just listed?
Crosslinking just because - http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...sibility-AwardYou have peripherals that convert text to braille and text to speech systems set up for the blind. For amputees, I would imagine using a computer in the standard way would be difficult, but not impossible, you could play this MMO with one arm just using a special mouse with keybinds around it. *snip* I think disabling graphics settings is a much easier request than accommodating a multiple amputee or a blind person when they should be recieving support through their entire computing experience to begin with.
Wow that's pretty rude, it's not like developing an option for motion sick people would affect your game. I understand your point (I think) that a small handicapped minority shouldn't halt the progress (in this case the time developers put to the game) of non-handicapped people, but giving an optional static background wouldn't really be that much work and would improve the playing experience for some people.
EDIT: I did a small search and learned that motion sickness in video games is surprisingly more common than I thought, so I would actually see SE implementing something like this.

If your screen is running at only 30Hz any movement is going to display as a blur with significant ghosting rather than a smooth motion. For someone so sensitive to motion sickness this would deter me from a lot of content. I suggest looking into upgrading to a 60Hz or 120Hz screen depending on its size. Many TV stores will have displays set up so you can compare the difference.
Edited after reading comments about this being a psychological issue. I can assure you it is not. If her monitor is displaying motion as a blur with some trails and ghosting this will cause motion sickness in a large number of people.

I agree it is totally rude. And if it would be my family member or loved one I would tell them to not play the game.
Edit: sorry for the double post.

Slaying Dragons in Online Worlds Since 2000
"Cry Havoc and Lets Slip The Dogs of War"
See above. You are basically complaining about something trivial as a video game affecting your health. So quit playing it if it affects your health. Its not like this is a life-essential activity.
If you cannot quit playing despite it affecting your health negatively, you are basically addicted to a video game and have a whole different set of problems.

Your really insensitive, I never could have imagined such evil people to be amungst the final fantasy community. I'm glad people like you do not make up the majority of the population of people I have met or adventured with in my travels in eorzia.See above. I guess I have been blessed up until now with the people that I have met in eorzia, and I pray I never meet someone like you.
