Mid Level Dragoon loot -- Can't need

Twice already I have not been able to need on gear that was clearly designed for use by the Dragoon class. This is mostly Aetherial scale and the like. Str, vit, acc, and crit -- not one tank stat, and yet the only classes that were able to need on the gear were paladin or warrior. In both Brayflox's Longstop and Cutter's Cry there was gear drops that clearly I could wear -- not to mention the dps stats attached to them -- and I was not able to need on these pieces. So, I wait almost an hour each for these dungeons and when I think I finally get an upgrade, SE stops me from needing on upgrades that I should be able to don. Am I expected to roll need on only the "All Disciples of War" type leathers and miss out on the better defense? If so, I have to say it's not cool, especially when the tanks can roll for both the defense gear AND the gear that should rightfully go to the dragoons mid level.

That armor is primarily tank gear, in that it has high defense and magic defense. Tanks get first crack at it, since they are the ones most in need of high defense and magic defense. While it is also very good armor for dragoons, dragoons can get by fine with the Disciple of War armor and the armor with high defense and low magic defense. Tanks, however, have to have the armor with high numbers in both defense and magic defense. If dragoons got to roll need on the armor with high numbers in both defense stats, it would be hard for tanks to get any good armor. Also, I'm confused as to why you would say that it doesn't have any tank stats, since that armor always has the main tank stats of vitality and strength, plus the one you list has accuracy which is one of the stats tanks need.

This was a problem in the past that I thought they had fixed. I thought I noticed it a few days ago but I was on my daily roulette and was just passing everything anyway.
