oh cool perhaps u might enjoy more when multiple WHMs spam HolySorry to sound disrespectful to your condition ive just never seen a developer change their content to be less exciting for everyone because they were worried about 1 in 50 feeling a bit sick
plenty of games have flashing lights too but there are tons of people with epilepsy, generally they just play other games
The twintania fight hurts my over-sensitive eyes with all the glowing red puddles/conflags, theyre not gonna change it though..
not everything is made for everyone
I have trouble with the 2 Chimera fights in game. I can't tell the difference between their blue and their violet but with focus target and watching the cast bar I do ok. I just look for the work Ram or Dragon and know which way to go.
Just focus your sight on the mobs you re tanking (looking straight down is a good idea even if you don't have motion sickness anyway), your action bars (to know if your CD are available) and the small aggro interface on the left of your screen (to know when the next set of mobs will spawn) and you should be fine.example: On Turn 4, my motion sickness gets me really bad. I still force my self to finish the run, but I have to take a lot of medication. The reason for this, The background is an elevator, and its constantly moving downwards. And no matter what I do, I cannot completely remove the background from my field of vision. I play a main tank for my static, so even if I look straight down, its still somewhere in my vision. If possible, please have a way to turn the background into a non-moving wallpaper or something.
I think the point of the OP is that Leviathan will be a story mission that can be a hard wall for people with motion sickness. Coils are all optional for the time being so turn 4 can be skipped. During my earlier example of Praetorium, I was pretty sick for the next day or so after we cleared the dungeon. Since it was a story mission I had to put myself through that if I wanted to progress onto other, bigger things, which at the time was AK and Hard mode primals.Sorry to sound disrespectful to your condition ive just never seen a developer change their content to be less exciting for everyone because they were worried about 1 in 50 feeling a bit sick

Sometimes motion sickness is a simplified term for a problem that is more psychological.Just focus your sight on the mobs you re tanking (looking straight down is a good idea even if you don't have motion sickness anyway), your action bars (to know if your CD are available) and the small aggro interface on the left of your screen (to know when the next set of mobs will spawn) and you should be fine.

"About 33% of people are susceptible to motion sickness even in mild circumstances such as being on a boat in calm water, although nearly 66% of people are susceptible in more severe conditions. "
OP, what u are describing is psychological. U should not be having motion sickness when sitting on a chair doing these fights.
I advise u to visit a psychologist, it should help. I don't mean this in any bad way, it's just advice, I know a friend with the same thing and he improved afterwards. Trust me and good luck.
I'm a neurologist by the way
Does anyone else have trouble in Southern Thanalan on those "hazy" days? There seems to be a heat mirage effect and it really throws me off.
Otherwise I actually have turned down a lot of my graphics settings. It helps break the 'immersion' (and my computer can't handle it).
I find myself getting a bit ill playing as archer, running around mobs. No problems as summoner.
Maybe you just do not need to play this game. I tried to play EVE and got headaches after about 30minutes playing it. So I just stopped. You dont like the elevator, how shall we accomodate blind people or amputees that have a hard time dodging plumes?
Slaying Dragons in Online Worlds Since 2000
"Cry Havoc and Lets Slip The Dogs of War"
You have peripherals that convert text to braille and text to speech systems set up for the blind. For amputees, I would imagine using a computer in the standard way would be difficult, but not impossible, you could play this MMO with one arm just using a special mouse with keybinds around it. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE. Double amputees you say, who have no arms. Well presumably they would understand their limitations restrict some of the things they could do. Would they be able to play the game? Probably. Would they be able to play titan extreme? Maybe not. I think disabling graphics settings is a much easier request than accommodating a multiple amputee or a blind person when they should be recieving support through their entire computing experience to begin with.
