This would be a mega pain in the butt if you're trying to keep your distance from something and you keep stopping to go into passive/active.

I'm not sure what you mean.

My thought:

You auto-attack, someone calls out a Bind, everyone hits F or whatever and goes passive. Why would you be rapidly switching back and forth?
