    Due to the animation delay ,Benediction is like a 1.5 cast time heal rather then a instant life saver. Especially since it's not even usable while casting or using other abilities =/.

    I start casting stoneskin.
    twintania starts casting death sentence
    Stoneskin applys to tank and shows on his buff list
    1.5 seconds later death sentence finshes casting and does damage
    Stoneskin absorbs none of death sentence and stays on the tank to absorb the next attack


    Any whm who uses stoneskin much in combat can probably relate to this, This games combat is a mess. I dont know if its latency or coding, probably a bit of both, but it effects everything. its not "Intended" with benediction as it effects every other ability the same way. Benediction has a long animation so it compounds the issue same as paladin invincible. Scholar lustrates animation is much shorter so it has a much higher chance of saving the tank but it still suffers the same issues just like everything else in the game.

    My question is: why is this? I can understand the stoneskin animation delay... to a degree, but Benediction is the 'oh shit' move; as is invincible. why is there any delay at all. These abilities are not spammed, but used as a last resort when things go badly. save the tank (or others) with this exceedingly long CD (Benediction 5 min's, invincible 7 min's) only to have them die because you need to wait the extra second for the ability to take effect. Yet Lustrate can be spammed 3x's a min and it's a shorter animation.

    Yep hallowed ground is almost worse.. Popping hallowed and... I'm dead. One time I even clicked it, went on cd but the ability never went on me, healer got a cure in time but was like O.O. They need to make the affect of abilitys instant and the animation after. It makes the game feel so un-responsive.


    The oshit buttons in this game are for... O shit something bad is probably going to happen soon.

    That would require him to have gotten through turn 4 as a healer.... He's in all darklight, possible but somehow I doubt it.

    Sometimes Lustrate doesn't work either. It has to do with how the combat log is applying damage and healing. Damage is being applied before healing. So even if you use the ability, the combat log may not "register" it occurring until after the damage is applied. This happens to an extent in WoW, but nowhere near the frequency it happens in this game.

    with all the server checks in place you think they would be able to detect the player died and the cast went no where and remove the CD but alas they are always 2 steps behind
