Solely agree with this thread. The function of Benediction is great, but really like if SE could fix the "instant" part of it. The dance move is nice, not so practical to save a tank though![]()

The development team has already said it's intentional. Hallowed Ground doesn't activate until the animation finishes. To start the animation is instant but the animation itself is a cast time to use it.
Solution: add "interruptable" keyword to spells that actually takes time to cast and thus are not instant
Change Benediction cast time to 1 second and not give it "interuptable" keyword.
Although it will give problems with petrifications....
