I said this earlier- but seeing myself and other players dead way outside of the plume's area of effect is comical and irritating- especially when I am mocked by other player's who experience no latency. I was reading some other posts on the forums and the problem could be stemming from certain ISPs treating FF14 as a P2P.
Off topic, but, player's claiming that pre-moving is a solid option for mitigating plume latency should consider that if someone moves from plumes prematurely, they run the risk of pushing that plume farther which will damage the group- in turn- getting yelled at for not stacking correctly.
Or rather, got more creative with their bosses...
I have the feeling that even if it were offline, I wouldn't enjoy it. HM was "fine" because it introduced the Mountain Buster... we didn't need the EM bringing even more AoE.
