you broke fates... why?

The fact that little to no one does fates now can't be possibly intended, and if it is it's completely utterly stupid. There are plenty of people "complaining" as you call it, but have no use for people like you who wear rose tinted goggles and believe that everything is fine. Fate mobs could hurt you before, now with scaling it ramps up their damage to the point that if you are a dps class, you're probably screwed. Sure, you can tank the mobs and take little damage, but then you aren't going to get anywhere. Same with healers, except if the mob was scaled up so high due to the prior fate group you'll get blown up. Oh I know, let's form a party to kill the mobs...wait, then you can't queue up for DF at the same time which is going to relegate you to less xp/hr. Max level is the ultimate goal in this game, as the game opens up at 50. Extending that period by lowering the amount of xp you get from fates, rendering fates/fate groups dead, and not really doing much for a dps queue is stupid. It's going to lead to people leaving the game because you are forced to grind longer than what you previously were doing to get to level 50. Let's leave aside from people trolling you in DF not accepting it, or just plain going afk or w/e else in the dungeon. Either you have not done enough fates to form a properly subjective opinion, or you have such thick rose colored glasses you are blind to the ineptitude.

Also, if people such as yourself are content with what they deem as whiners leaving the game, then so be it. Enjoy the game what other people deem as broken or untested alone because there are other things to do anyway.

So you are scared you might actually fail a FATE, that you actually have to play your role to complete a FATE that you can't spam one button to complete a FATE to finish in seconds and mindlessly roll over the next one. You are making an overall assumption that no-one is doing FATES yet when I travel around the world I see FATE parties running around clearing them and/or looking for 1 or 2 members.

You state little to no-one is doing FATEs yet you also say that they are scaling up so "no-one" is able to complete them. If, as you say, no-one is doing FATEs then they will be as easy as they were before and you clear them as easy as pre 2.1 as they wont be scaling.

It was in reference to "editing" my post when quoted to blah blah blah. For jobs I'm levelling I mix it up with it all, Low level roulette+Guild hest Roulette, specific dungeons, battle leves and GC leves, beastman dailies. and FATEs.

One thing I can agree with that has been mentioned is that you should be able to que solo whilst in a party for DF and/or even with your chocobo companion summoned.
