SE didn't break FATES, human nature did. The only reason why they were popular is because they gave more XP. Now instances do and most go to the DF.
They were abused because dungeon exp was terrible... but why buff dungeon exp and completely destroy fates? why can't they have the best of both worlds? some people don't like spamming dungeons over and over, it's nice adding variety to your day.

I wouldn't mind doing a few dungeons then a few fates.. but I just tried doing fates and because of the new scaling system our entire group couldn't do anything, every fate was literally scaled way too high because of the previous groups.
