With the markets basically dead the only way to make money is from fates/quests/daylies/dungeons wich, as mind blowing as it might be, give the exact same gil to you in Cerberus as it does to us in Sargatanas.
Markets aren't dead, ilvl 55 crafter gear, relic base weapons, food, and mega potions still sell well.
