As long as "Stop pulling factoids out of thin air" is the only way you have to counter my argument, it stands. Any long standing experience around MMORPGs will tell you exactly what I wrote. Housing is a high engagement feature because it allows players to *own* by themselves or through their guild something persistent in the world outside of their own persona. It's normally the only feature that allows that, and that makes it stand out a lot.

If housing wasn't such a big element for many, you think Square Enix would have made it into the most hyped factor of their first content patch?

That's because company housing is what's in this patch! If it was personal housing, do you think most people would still be talking about FC housing?

So you're just arguing for the sake of arguing. I get it.

That's now how it works. You can't make claims without backing them up with verifiable data and expect people to not question your claims. I'm telling you what I think, and that's what I think. You're telling people what you think and claiming it is fact. That is hearsay.
