No, you saying this is what's funny. This is exactly why SE shouldn't be giving us too much info if they don't have any real time frame for it. People jump to conclusions and make up their own time frame. Then when those (false) expectations aren't met, they get pissed off.

How many people are already expecting the Job system for 1.18? Like, seriously? Wishful thinking is one thing, but some take it too far and end up extremely disappointed in the end.

What Poipori said is absolutely, 100% correct. There was never any mention of the Job system being implemented before summer, or even in 2011 for that matter. They never said anything about a time frame for implementation. All they said was that a Job system was being developed and gave us a few details. Unfortunately some took it the wrong way and are now expecting its release within a few months.

Yes, we all know that. But show me where it says that Jobs are being implemented. Poipori already listed all of the Job related stuff, and it's all just preparations and planning.

The only thing listed for implementation is the gear, but not the Jobs themselves. Which I find kinda funny lol

Exactly my point, why would they says JSE w/o putting jobs along with it.. that makes no sense at all, in which case they "are" implementing it. and besides he said he wants everything on that list "in game" by Summers end" In the game means implementation.

and for all you know they could be at the closing point of there development stage, it just probably has got to the "end" of it yet

It could have been a typo for all we know. Maybe it was supposed to be "Class" and not "Job". It certainly doesn't make any sense to implement the gear before the actual system comes out.

Read what the letter said again though, it said everything on that list will be finished by summer's end, but then read the specifics and anything regarding job system and you wont see anything that on the list that says "implement job system". It says it will be finished by summer's end, it also says job system mechanics. Job system mechanics+finish=Finished Job system mechanics. If they don't put jobs in 1.18 I'm putting the nail in the coffin here. Seriously, this game blows but I need one huge ass smack to the face so I can just say, "F this." I really want that to happen. At this point, I don't even want this game to be good.
