Is 1.18 the final straw?

I will restate what I posted in another thread couple weeks ago, 1.18 will not be a game changer, that's for sure.

Because according to the producer's letter and battle blueprint, we'll only be getting ONE rank 50 dungeon and ONE rank 30 dungeon, plus core auto attack, with some other minor changes.

To those that hoped for the new job system, well let's just say you won't be seeing that anytime soon, definitely not in summer, because according to the producer's letter, "Cost assessment for job system implementation" is in FUTURE task, "implementation of job system" is no where to be found, so I think the earliest you'll see white/black mage in game is end of the year.

So, be prepared to WAIT, WAIT and WAIT.

Actually, everything that Yoshi wrote in his letter will be here by summer's end(which could be august or september, I have no idea), and that includes the job system.

Alot to cover in a 3 month span so You would expects alot in each pacth ( Not leteered patches like a/b) those are hotfixes not patches mainly

This means that they are still in the "planning" stage for the entire summer.

There is no word on "Implementation of the job system" at all, so if you think that job system will be here before summer ends, you will be in for a huge disappointment.

No, you saying this is what's funny. This is exactly why SE shouldn't be giving us too much info if they don't have any real time frame for it. People jump to conclusions and make up their own time frame. Then when those (false) expectations aren't met, they get pissed off.

What Poipori said is absolutely, 100% correct. There was never any mention of the Job system being implemented before summer, or even in 2011 for that matter. They never said anything about a time frame for implementation. All they said was that a Job system was being developed and gave us a few details. Yes, we all know that. But show me where it says that Jobs are being implemented. Poipori already listed all of the Job related stuff, and it's all just preparations and planning.

The only thing listed for implementation is the gear, but not the Jobs themselves. Which I find kinda funny lol

Exactly my point, why would they says JSE w/o putting jobs along with it.. that makes no sense at all, in which case they "are" implementing it. and besides he said he wants everything on that list "in game" by Summers end" In the game means implementation.

and for all you know they could be at the closing point of there development stage, it just probably has got to the "end" of it yet

Read what the letter said again though, it said everything on that list will be finished by summer's end, but then read the specifics and anything regarding job system and you wont see anything that on the list that says "implement job system". Yea...learn to read and you wont be so disappointed in the end.

It says it will be finished by summer's end, it also says job system mechanics. Job system mechanics+finish=Finished Job system mechanics. If they don't put jobs in 1.18 I'm putting the nail in the coffin here. Seriously, this game blows but I need one huge ass smack to the face so I can just say, "F this." I really want that to happen. At this point, I don't even want this game to be good.
