    So, post 2.1 rotation, would something like this be in the right direction?

    Shoulder Tackle > ToD
    Bootshine > Twin Snakes > Demolish (GL I) > Fracture
    Dragon Kick > Twin Snakes > Snap Punch (GL II)
    Bootshine > True Strike > Snap Punch (GL III)
    Dragon Kick > Blood For Blood > Twin Snakes > Internal Release > Demolish
    Fracture > ToD
    Perfect Balance > 5x True Strike (mix in Howling Fist/Steel Cyclone)
    Dragon Kick > Twin Snakes > Demolish > Fracture
    Bootshine > True Strike > Snap Punch
    Dragon Kick > Twin Snakes > Snap Punch

    I used to start off with DK, but there's no reason to ignore Bootshine now, especially since DK doesn't proc until after the first GL.

    I also changed the PB burst from Snap Punch x5 to True Strike x5, since it will now have 10 more potency than Snap Punch.

    Am I missing anything?

    Rotation wasnt hard...still isnt hard...its same as before. Memorize which skills do what from where and move appropriately. Keeps buffs/dots up

    nothing change with rotation , just ID became more useless than before ( to much tp loss in long fights ) .

    love the 30sec shoulder tacle <3

    And now getting any skill speed on gear is entirely pointless (the only argument previously was being able to keep twin snakes buff up).

    Apart from that yea, no change. Heck its not like skill speed wasnt allrdy our least desired stat.

    Unless of course you used impulse drive, you likely wont be using that anymore either.

    But yea, funfun, free buff to a class that didnt need it

    Not sure why you're not opening with PB so as to get to GL3 faster...

    I would like to know about this special rotation that pushes monks to the limits while using ID and somehow doens't run out of TP. I don't stack SS and I still run out of TP an nearly everything. Even titan causes me to run low on TP more often then not (not being when I get gaol).

    I don't use PB at the start of most fights because of threat issues. I save it for oops, burst phase, or after a phase change that I know won't get me smacked around. After the patch it makes even more sense because of SP losing its #1 spot.

    Thats likely the gear he uses outside coils.... however.

    You can get away with lots of allagan pieces for example http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Best-Monk-Set I agree with TC on his optimum monk set (minimal skillspeed) which would have you around 465 accuracy, coupled with food accuracy buff you are in the perfect setup for turn 5.

    When im not doing coil i basically go full allagan.

    For instance heres my gear http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...acter/2167664/ (still missing 3-4 BiS pieces), all i need to do is switch out helmet and legs to myth ones for turn 5.

    Oh and allagan maiming earings and allagan sollerets will be even better for minimised skillspeed after patch.

    I don't know who TC is but from personal experience running out of TP all the time I say away from SS as much as I can. If I have to hold back even a second because of TP that means SS has actually lowered my dps and that sucks. There are a lot of fights where my GL uptime is high enough for that to be an issue.
