You need to learn to position better and predict Titan's movements. Titan will always run back to the tank after a jump, use that to your advantage.

sooo... is Impulse Drive still worth using?

I hate the duration of GL buff.
GL duration and the very very situational silence of Arm Of Tthe Destroyer and buff removal effect of One Ilm Punch are the only things bothering me when playing MNK.
Always losing the buff between mob groups and in trials (Ifrit dash, Garuda jumps, Titan jumps) is not fun.
You don't make friends if you always attack mobs before the tank and in primal fights you can't do anything to speed up the phases during which you can't attack.
A GL duration of at least 15 seconds or better 20 seconds would be nice.
Or change it to a buff that weakens over time.
For example: GL3 -> 12s -> GL2 -> 12s -> GL1 ->12s -> no buff

2 Quick ones, I just switched to MNK for my Coil team:
- Hypothetically, in a vacuum, this should be the "standard" rotation (not including off-GCDs or Fracture (which I think is useless) and ToDeath), correct?
BS>TwSn>Demo>DK>TrSt>SP
- When is the right time to use Perfect Bal? I have been using it start fights to get GL3 quickly, basically
PB>SP>SP>Demo>TwSn>ToD>BS . . .
I have heard people saving it for if they drop GL3 somehow...I'm assuming that's a crutch for newer Monks? I don't lose GL3 much unless its like T1 and we called DPS off to account for a smile getting in before split.
Thanks uber expert monks!

The rotation depends on how you start the fight. If you start the fight with BS > TwS > Dem > DK > TrS > SP, you'll constantly rotate BS > TwS > ender > DK > TrS > ender. If you start with PB (as I use it anyway), you'll end up with flank > flank > ender > behind > behind > ender.2 Quick ones, I just switched to MNK for my Coil team:

I think the best time to use Perfect Balance is to avoid the ramp-up of Greased Lightning. The DPS increase from just spamming True Strike while already ramped up isn't as much a gain, I don't think. To ramp up I use:
PB > SP > SP > DK > TwS > Demolish, which JUST works. This lets you have a fully buffed Demolish since you have four opportunities for non-GCDs, and ToD will also be fully buffed immediately after.

How is that a fully buffed Demolish? Does the buff get the 3rd stack even if that demolish applied it? Or did I miss something?
Edit - I take back what I said. I retested and I guess I was just getting really lucky highs on my third GL apply and lows after that. It does not look like it applies after retesting it, but maybe someone with a larger pool of data has a better answer I just did some quick sample.

Fully buffed was a bad choice of words. I meant fully non-GCD'd up Demolish, with B4B and IR. While it'd be nice to save Demolish for GL3, it'd be too much time until the next one and be a DPS loss over using it in GL2 I reckon.

WSs with added effects - Twin Snakes, Dragon Kick, anything that applies GL - will not receive the benefits of their own effects at the time of application.
