    Well to answer OPs question, i can see why they didnt upgrade the turn 5 gear's ilvl to 90 because different piece are from different turns. Lets say for instance 1 job's body piece drops in turn 1 and that job's head piece drops in turn 5... they would get a bit of a stat boost with the head upgrading to 95. Now take another job that is reversed (head in turn 1, body in 5), it would be unfair because they would get way more of an increase than the first job.

    I understand that logic as far as some jobs getting unequal stat boosting, but my point is that if the logic is due to the difficulty of the fight then they should make everyones body piece available through T5 and give it the increase, OR make those pieces available through other turns, because T5 IS the hardest content in the game so why are you getting inferior pieces by beating it.

    i get that, but there is no way around the imbalance it would cause with the gear stat tiers accessories/belt < head/feet/hands < body/pants/weapon
    upgrading the weapon only would be the safest way to go. I totally agree that its odd, but id prefer weapon only over the alternative

    The weapons should come from previous bosses and the better armor/accessory upgrades should drop from Twintania to make clearing Twintania slightly easier. The content they have planned next must be really hard if the items that make killing the boss easier drop from the boss. It's the same logic as Diablo 3 launch before they nerfed Inferno. Need the items from Inferno act 3 to beat Inferno act 2? Better get better at the game!

    since the beginning of time of video games, stuff has been dropping from bosses that would make beating them easier. Its like monster hunter, fighting bosses with very dangerous poisons gets you gear with poison resist on it. With D3, you never NEEDED gear from act 3 to beat act 2.. people just couldnt be bothered having to actually try and learn to play. D2 would have blown their minds

    Yep, it's this kind of suff that shows the devs are clueless about gear itemization or how to properly distribute loot. It would have made more sense for turn 5 to drop iLevel 95 chest and weapon. It seems like they threw darts at a board to determine where stuff drops.

    Also, if the devs knew how to properly design raid encounters they would have implemented a token system instead of the garbage rng system they have now.

    Since the number of adventurers that are earning the relic +1 weapons is higher than we originally anticipated, the team felt that increasing the item level of the Binding Coil weapons would prove to be a nice motivational boost that would encourage more players to challenge this difficult content.

    They didn't anticipate people making a business off of selling Relic clears - This is why the number is extremely high. Titan was originally their gate to relic completion if Chimera/Hydra didn't stop you. On Legacy worlds it's a no brainer, but on newer worlds with brand new players? Yeah. The main thing they should change is being able to completely silence/stun certain abilities.
