I've leveled both WHM and SCH to 50 with iLvl 70 gear (minus jewelry) and I much prefer SCH.

Just something I'd like to throw out there - I've dual SCH healed both Titan and turns 1-4 in Coil no problem. You gotta be on your toes and know the fight, but it worked out fine.

The one problem I DO have is that you can't always guarantee your fairy will heal who you want, even manually clicking embrace constantly. I've found if there are other people lower than the tank the fairy will heal them, ignoring my orders. This means in healing intensive fights like Caduceus you may have a bit of a tougher time making sure you keep the tank topped up, even spamming Physick and Adlo.

There's no better healer, there's situations where one is better than the other. I'm a SCH and I just recently leveled a WHM, and I'm doing twintania at the moment. I don't think 2 scholars or 2 white mages would outperform 1 scholar 1 whitemage any day, any dungeon.

I think it would for twintania. 2 soil rotation permenant 10% dmg reduction on tank . Extra 2-3 lustrates to bypass healing debuff and 1 extra full power virus.
Faries heal while you are stunned i think as well lol.
Theres also the extra dps sch can provide from their 100% accurate dots and serene.

SCH is tank healer. WHM is raid healer.

How do people not get this yet? It's really simple. SCH has the highest ST heals and great raid utility with shields. WHM has the highest AoE HPS/DPS.

Please stop with the "Scholar is ST and WHM is AOE healing". If you are working like that with your healer partner, then you aren't getting the most out of what each of you can do.

Anyways, I solo healed titan 3 times now, each without a bard and at least 1 or two carried slots. It's pretty fun doing it and it really has shown me the limits to my job. Basically I learned to leave the big boy heals to my WHM buddy.

One thing you should be doing as a SCH is making sure a bad situation doesn't turn into a worse situation. That's really your focus. There is no need to blow all your lustrate stacks because the tank is low, my WHM buddy can crit for 3.5k on cure 2, he got that part covered.

Just use adloquium more. Currently solo healin Titan without problems as a scholar, simply save soils + virus for tumult, well timed rouse help aswell. Just make sure people got their shield from succor before tumult happen ...

Sch is an amazing spot healer with their fairy. They can heal raid members for free while tank healing themselves or top up two people at the same time . Embrace and physick on two raid members would heal them up faster individually then a group heal from whm. Lustrate as a raid heal tool is invaluble too, whm has nothing that compares to lustrate raid healing tool.

Let say in situation like twintania dive bomb. 2 idiots got hit by dive bombs now they are at 20% hp. Need a top up fast! Sch can embrace +lustrate 1 raid member and then physick and lustrate another. Near the same time that it would take a whm to cure 2 one.

Sacred soil + Succor+ free embraces + occasional whispering dawn isnt exactly bad raid healing. Succor is better in some situations. Again twintania, how amazing is surviving a fireball with 10hp when you had succor previously.

You can't compare WHM and Scholar. Both play very differently and a WHM simply burry the pure healing part of the equation by beein far more powerfull that a scholar will ever be. They both have different styles, different gameplay, different approach.
