and this is coming from a white mage. I personally feel that scholars out shines WM in MANY ways. I do agree that WM has higher potency heals but the utility and flexibility that comes with the scholar spells/pets blows the high healing factor out of the water, especially since over healing has absolutely no benefit at all. Only thing I see WM doing better is AOE healing and that alone I would say would only be because of the amazing sustain you gain with medica II after the initial heal. Please can someone prove to me why I should stay WM?

Forget the idea of who should be healing who. Lets see who brings more to the table, and lets not forget how situational Cure III and Presence of Mind is for WM.

You should look at it as, "if I leave WHM and go SCH, who will be my WHM raid healer?". If everyone thought the same way, we'd run into the problem where everyone wants to be Paladin and no one wants to be Warrior.

edit - coil turn 5* also warriors are going to be buffed next patch.

I don't have to "prove" anything to you. However, dual scholar is going to make you cry. A lot.

who care really? both can do a good job. what matters is everyone survive at the end. All those post about who got the biggers balls and who does that or this better is simply childish.
