My experiences?

Tanks and SCH don't care, WHM only like them for Ballad, all the other DPS (melee especially) compete with them and are often pushed aside for them. Unless you're in a static group, being a melee or SMN it can be hard to find a group to do anything because BRD are seen as godly DPS and have Ballad (BLM too, outside of WP speed runs, which then its all "LF BRD + BLM for WP SR"). I see 4-mans often shout for BRD + something else. 8-mans have more flexibility, but when groups want 2 BRD you have 2 slots for 4 classes (5 if they'll take a third BRD with them).

Yes, I'm lucky to have people to run dungeons with now, and have WHM up (and soon WAR), but my time shouting was not fun. And there are tons of people out there that rely on PUGs to run dungeons.

Disagree, most ppl i know, actually almost all ppl i know dont like to have more them 1 meele because they prefer a second blm or smn, since they hit for same dmg and tend to receive less dmg from mecannics, i know a lot of player who would love to have a good monk on their static, but go find a monk that can silence and mantein a dps... 1 each 50...

what does a drg bring more then dps to the party that a blm doesn't? meele limit break, sure, dps, no, more dps to bards..., now blm can bring virus and eye for an eye... so the the fact is, meele dps only bring the limit break that can't be replace for a smn or blm

Bard don't need nerf, Mdps need some suport skill to use and make it more needed.
