    Yes but this idea contains suggestions of FF11 & for some absurd reason both Yoshi & a large % of this community's populace, wishes to exclude anything & everything from 11. Pay no attention now to the mobs with different names (Malboro, raptor, goblin etc) who resemble FF11 mobs. Or the skills/abilities (same name; different meanings) adapted from 11. Why even Allagan has an Aht Urgan feel to it.

    But I like your idea.

    It takes 9 pieces of the consumables from the Tomes of Philo per piece.

    You have 12 pieces x 9 = 13500 Tomes of Philo for a full set / 100 per run = 135 runs x 35 mins on average = 78.75 hours / 5 hours per day = 15.75 days. Who do you know plays for 5 hours a day 7 days a week?

    This doesn't include the weapon because Relic is easier to obtain. 900 Tomes of Philo / 35 mins per run = 25 hours just for Relic alone.

    CM & Preat don't drop gear, only Tomes.

    WP & AK drop sets that you will eventually have for every Job role by the time you farm enough Philo tomes for 1 set of DL + 1 Relic OR The tomes required for the crafting set.

    After that, then what? Allagan? yeah sure, range based luck roll system determined by a loot table where you may likely not see a single piece of loot for your class for weeks.

    Myth tome sets? 5010 Myth tomes / 300 per week = 16.7 weeks. 300 Myth tomes / 30 tomes per run = 10 runs x 35mins = 5.8 hours per week x 16.7 weeks = 96.8 hours.

    So lets recap here:

    70 hours for full set of 1 DL + 1 Relic = 40.8 Dungeon Runs
    103 Hours for full set of 1 Crafting gear + 1 Relic = 60 Dungeon Runs
    121.8 hours for full 1 Myth set + 1 Relic = 71 Dungeon Runs
    You can't even put a time frame on Allagan gear. You are simply lucky or you aren't.


    So lets put this in to perspective, because most peoples first set of DL gear includes their Relic:

    70 hours for full set of 1 DL + 1 Relic = 40.8 Dungeon Runs
    78.75 hours for full set of 1 Crafting = 45.9 Dungeons Runs
    96.8 hours for full set of 1 Myth = 56.5 Dungeon Runs Per set as they are job role only

    Total Dungeon Runs = 143.2 Dungeon Runs.

    How many dungeons do we have to choose from again? 4

    Now, like it or not, try and paint a pretty picture over it all you like, fact is, 4 dungeons to run this many times is enough to make anyone quit due to lack of content. Lets not also forget to mention, these are assuming you never fail, get disconnected, have a bad group, wipe, AFK or have any down time what so ever.

    Now that all the boring math is out the way, how many dungeons do you have to choose from to run over this amount of time? 4.......if you are still not following after all this, then I can't help you. This is my whole point, right here in this very paragraph.

    Not to go too far off track, but on one of my characters I got the Dungeon Siege III achievement before hitting Hauke. So Sastasha,Tam-Tara, Copperbell, Halatali, and Toto-Rak..I wasn't running for a grind, but for practice and fun. I didn't burn myself out on them. In fact I still enjoy running Halatali & copperbell occasionally.

    How burnt out you get by content is entirely dependent on why you are running them.

    If you only run those dungeons for tomes, and only to cap yourself out for the week, then that is why you so easily get burnt out on those 4 dungeons. Not because there are only 4 of them. If you ran them for fun, instead of tomes, and didn't feel like you had to run them a certain number of times a week, it wouldn't burn you out anywhere near as quickly.

    Not trying to argue with any other point you are making, just want to point out that much of this problem stems from how you choose to invest your time in the game. If you are only focused on the end goal of gear, and the dungeons are simply something in the way.... Then yes, after a certain number of runs you will start to feel burnt out.

    But it doesn't have to be that way for everyone. For me when I get gear it is an "ooh yay" rather than "omg finally".

    First of all, let me apologize for my bad grammar...
    But yes SE could have add a lot of it's FF11 great contents and make the endgame community.. I barely play 14 now bcz i'm pretty much done with it's content since mid October and now i only log for my daily relic run or coil group. bcz there is nothing else for me to do in this game.

    I'm gonna bring the HNM concept back, bcz that's what made 11 so popular and fun to me at least. Now how do you bring HNM back in 14? with a daily LEVE or GUILDHEST access.. why so there is no claim issue and FC would be happy to take on Odin, Behemoth, etc as a FC instead of ridiculous large FATE. I really do not understand why SE couldnt make a once a day FC HNM Leves access.

    Have any of you created game content for a MMO? I haven't, but I can atleast accept that maybe I don't know how much work it takes to develop and create content for a active MMO. I do know that coding websites and programs take a lot of time. I'm also not focused on this game as my only source of entertainment so that may be why I can wait and give the devs time to make content.
