Thread: Concerns about Content Patch 2.1

While I don't think even a majority of players will have completed everything there is to do before 2.1, certainly some will. And a lot of those people will let their subs expire. But they will be waiting for the 2.1 release, and I suspect most of them will re-sub at that time. It's going to be a cyclical thing every 3 months or so.

I don't mind the content thats in it persay, its a good amount BUT that said crystal tower is BEFORE coil which alot of ppl seem to be on already. And the rate of content is slow. Love the game but IDK if its worth spending this amount per month for quite frankly kind of slow since launch which seemed bare for what we were promised at launch. Paid for the game plus 3 months worth and I'm JUST NOW getting the content they should have had at launch :/

Define "a lot of people for coil"? i am sure the majority of players on each server have not touched coil or are only progressing on turns 1-2 maybe 4 but either way CT will help bridge gear gaps to expand BiS slots for classes. Either way besides content for 2.1 there are a lot of other changes i am looking forward to mainly food not expiring upon death and pet macros<3=)

No people still rushed but the reason content lasted was because games weren't easy then, there was a grind and it took a long time, you couldn't hit max lvl in 4 days and raiding was interesting and challenging, you didnt have the scripting and red blobs on the ground.

Guess it sucks for the hardcores, but my FC just ran Coil tonight as a collective (aka not everyone splintering out to other groups) for the first time tonight, so I think we'll have plenty to do between CT, Coil and all the other new stuff.

XI > XIV, enough said. If this was XI it would have been fixed already. Well, maybe not now, but it would have been a long time ago (years)!

Neverwinter has a more satisfying end game imo. Seriously end game is severely lacking even for a new one.

I didn't read everything but 2.1 will happen in Dec 100% couldn't tell you the date though.

I would say that releasing 2.1 after new years is a bad idea. A LOTTTT of good games come out during the christmas times, but it is what it is. It would take them longer to separate the content out and release some of it now than if they just keep chucking and make that launch date after new years or w/e it is.
