I would agree with you if I didn't think FC's would abuse this by selling coil runs. Which would devalue all gear from coil. If they suddenly made selling runs against the TOS, I would wholeheartedly agree that they should reduce the lockout.

I dunno, I don't see an issue with this. It'd be fabulously expensive, so the player would either be spending their time gil farming to pay for it or equipment farming to get geared enough to go. Either way, the time is spent, unless ofc they're using RMT which IS against the ToS.

LET them put it on DF then the OP will cry because he cannot find a good group on Df for coil because they all suck....same with everyone saying titan Df is impossible. comon coil is supposed to be hard so find friends and do it!
Also if they were to put this on Df which they will not until maybe a while from now, itll be like wow, but they will make turn 1 2 3 4 5 be their own seperate DF's allowing players to beable to only be locked from turn 1 on DF but still can do the rest with friends if they choose to do so. Wow allowed players to do raids in half. But I hope they don't put coil in Df.

Irrespective of the terrible composition for titan df (2 tanks? really?), its still doable. T1-4 are easier than titan, honestly. T1 and T4 are gear checks more than anything else, and T2 is just.. I dunno, 'can you pay attention'?

I personally don't flame DF groups -- I try to help other be better, so we can all win together.

But because that may be true sometimes we should just make it so players don't even get to try?

While I've had some really bad DF groups, I've also had some pretty rockin ones. Moreover, what about those partial parties that just can find a <fill in the blank> and need to fill the spot w/ a DF player?

How far have you done coil? You don't have a single achievement in coil yet you're lecturing people up to T5 on it's difficulty and what's possible. If you used a theoretical DF on coil you would be engaging in a massive waste of time and it's fair to tell people that as advice. Letting people shoot themselves in the foot with DF would be denying them progress more than just telling them they need to find a group.

And as for pre-mades I would never fill a spot with the DF on coil, and I am often outside my static in pug T5 groups. You really cannot carry coil and I'd count on most experienced people never using the DF, as they know if there is no quality control it is a waste of time.

Coil on DF? Sure why not, it would be a good way to wipe and get some experience on it before joining a static. Videos arent the same thing, wiping teaches you more.
Just dont expect to beat coil on the DF.

Its working well to learn the phases and be prepared for a shout party asking for "experience" that you can only achieve on the duty finder.

Coil turn 1-4 is easy, but it wont be easy for the people who Df why? because since there are no gear checks as of now, people can go in, in all af gear. turn 2 is some what of a gear check in a sense you have a time limit to kill the last boss, so if you don't mind wiping 100 times then sure df is good for you but sorry they will not make the hardest content of the game df unless they make harder ones in the future.

You know how sometimes when you get a duty finder group for Ifrit HM, and you don't have a mage for LB3 on nails? Well, you know how it is still capable of pulling off a win? Well, it's not in coil. You can't just randomly throw 8 people together and assume if everyone is good at their job they can still win.

That isn't what coil is about.
