    This is a big reason why I have had very little interest in Coil. You can't help other people once you pass a turn. I really do not like that. This creates "static groups" within a free company, having some left out hunting and searching for coil groups on their own. It really destroys the whole concept of what a free company is for honestly. I do like to help others, even if I do not have the option of getting loot, and I think more people than you believe will be willing to help out friends and FC members. A Loot lockout would be much preferred to the current way coil is working.

    He's not talking about alt jobs or classes, he's talking about alt character. If the whole group has an alt character of the same main job than his main character, you could basicly do 8 runs of each coil and give all the loots to the person who is on his main at every run.

    Even more, after a person has done his turn on his main, he can even continue the rest of the runs on his main, because it will be capped anyways, so basicly, every week, each member could get up to 6 pieces of gear just doing turns 1-4, and for a group that knows the fights, they can really do it in full DL.

    Monday night, time to run coil 1-4 for 3 ppl. first run, main tank on his main job, cause you want your guy with big armor to tank the big hits, cause both your healers are in ilvl70 gear. Second run, both tanks, third to 6th runs you bring a DD, and you finish with the healers... because if the healers can get through turns 1-4 with 7/8 in full DL, there is no reason to get them on their mains before the DDs that will speed things up...
    I think you don't understand that you're not psychic, and can't possibly know what other groups will do should they implement Loot Lockouts.

    I think you don't understand that what my group does is none of your business because our groups are separate.

    And most important of all....I don't think you understand that YOU, Drakan, and every other highly skilled group, would never, EVER, use the Loot Lockout system to gear your mains faster as you described (making alts, passin all loot to one person, repeat for next).

    Why?

    Because Dravan, you and all those other highly skilled groups are in it for the challenge. You guys would never do something to intentionally trivialize that challenge for you (in this case, stock up on ILVL 90 gear by letting each person get 6 drops a week).

    It's exactly the same thing as rushing to 50. You don't.

    I would agree with you if I didn't think FC's would abuse this by selling coil runs. Which would devalue all gear from coil. If they suddenly made selling runs against the TOS, I would wholeheartedly agree that they should reduce the lockout.

    At this point though, turns 1 through 4 have aleready been trivial for a lot of groups, and are done only for the loots (or access T5). The runs are fun, don't get me wrong, there is nothing more fun than coil in the game right now, and I'd do it for nothing myself just for the fun of it, but you can't possibly believe that if people are given the opportunity of gearing their group faster, no one will do it... Leveling 1 alt character to 50 and gearing him in full DL is not hard nor long, 2-3 weeks and it's done for most ppl. For groups that are in for completion and want to get everything in the game, the opportunity of getting 8x more drops is golden.

    i don't know why ppl are afraid of the possibility of selling bc runs , unlike titan wich give u relic weapon with 100% success , in bc , loots aren't assured , even if a billionnair wants to make a full gear by buying runs , he may not have all of it at all due to RNG ^^' .

    and even if he could , it's his life and that won't change nothing at the game .

    btw even if u can deal with turn 1 with <8 players, it'll be hard with turn 2 and impossible with t4 and t5 due to the huge gearcheck.

    the only way to fix endless endgame BOREDOM is to put a loot lockout or reduce looting % by bosses like other games and NOT limit HL contents to players.

    on this days, i can't enjoy this game anymore, already made things i had to do ....
    just do coil on monday and faming myth cap and then dc for the rest of th week becaus the lack of content ....

    ps : without the weekly lockout ,u can play and help all of ur fc mates .

    fc are useless in that game wich is designed for statics groups ....

    LET them put it on DF then the OP will cry because he cannot find a good group on Df for coil because they all suck....same with everyone saying titan Df is impossible. comon coil is supposed to be hard so find friends and do it!
    Also if they were to put this on Df which they will not until maybe a while from now, itll be like wow, but they will make turn 1 2 3 4 5 be their own seperate DF's allowing players to beable to only be locked from turn 1 on DF but still can do the rest with friends if they choose to do so. Wow allowed players to do raids in half. But I hope they don't put coil in Df.

    I've still yet to see an detailed explanation to how you would carry someone though turn 4. 3 DPS? The DPS checks might be too tight. 1 Healer? Close to impossible. There is no way this can be reduced to a 1 tank fight, all the current strats need everyone on the ball. We don't completely overgear the mechanics yet so the fight is tuned well.

    Even turn 2 would be rough to carry if your buyer is brain dead and throws himself into your rot rotation. You can sell a run when you can have at least one person do whatever and pass regardless. The lockout is not the only barrier to selling coil runs.

    Who cares. We shouldn't be punishing the majority because of a few.

    And gear, really... do they have any value? You can buy anything ilvl 90 from a NPC, while doing the weakest level 50 dungeon in the game.

    Truth. I totally feel the same way, and its this sadness that led me to create this thread. As it stands now, coil is a restrictive, cliquish mess.
