When I play as a Conjurer and see fighter classes cast buffs and healing magic that I haven't yet learned, I get pretty bummed out.
This should be addressed in our adjustment of class roles and specialties. We'll continue to look to you all to provide us with feedback as we move forward.

This is one point where I disagree with the sentiment being expressed here.

My answer, as bludgeoning as it may be is this:

Hey, stupid Conjurer, if they're casting buffs and healing magic on their own, DO YOUR JOB BETTER OR GET OUT. You're not in the party to be a *bleep* wallflower!

Edit: If you're planning on restricting class abilities like how subjobs are restricted in XI, I'm leaving. I do not want to be unable to use Twisting Vice when I'm a Rank 50 Gladiator. The only kind of restriction I see as reasonable is being limited to abilities only within your current class's maximum rank. Example: You're a rank 19 Pugilist. You only get access to spells and abilities ranks 19 and under in all other classes where applicable. That's the ONLY kind of restriction I would agree with in the armory system. Period.
