That one answered the most for me personally. It's absurd that players can use higher level spells cross-classed. No, I don't think players should be able to sub Cure/Sac 3, top tier nukes etc.

Well you better hope your healers have their game faces on when the changes hit. i sub cures because conj and thaums typically dont really like to heal, they like to hurt, and they have the spells to do it. It saves me from the inattentive.

I dont mind dieing a couple thousand times until they get the picture tho.

After this update I expect everyone to learn to do their jobs/roles properly. Healers included. Which is why I'm glad that their allowing specializations. Means a CON can go WHM or BLM and decide whether they want to heal or nuke and excel at one or the other. Not suck at both.

I don't care that someone won't be able to cook up classes like an Arcane Archer or something equally retarded. If I see you casting nukes on Ranger that don't come from that job specifically you are getting das boot.

Who the heck are you to tell people how to play their jobs? Just because you can't figure out how to play something that isn't stock doesn't mean you get to take that away from everyone else. I'd wager your one of those people in FFXI who thought Ninja could only sub war and melee should never diverge fom ninja subs..

The difference is that when it came time to perform in a group I chose the best possible combination for the situation.

If your priority is to perform the best, then why are you criticizing the ability to equip high level skills from other classes? My character kicks all kinds of ass because I can equip high level skills from all the other clases that I took the time to rank up.

the fact you had to take the time to rank up all those jobs is part of your ability to use them
its like like you can level one job and have access to every classes abilities, which is what alot of people are making it sound like you can do

want that 1 lancer ability in the 40s? guess what, you gotta spend dozens of hours leveling it to earn that ability!

This series was founded on Job types to begin with. Who are you to tell him to get some skill? Don't you love seeing everyone have the same skills for different classes? I don't. Glad they are making classes more unique because everything in this game is the same, just called something different.
