    Hello,

Below is a follow-up comment from Hiroshi Minagawa regarding cross hotbar controls.

Question 2: Is the set that is switched to when holding down the L2 and R2 buttons static?
The below settings will become possible with the cross hotbar settings in the configuration.
    1. ON/OFF toggle for this expanded control feature. If you set this to “OFF,” pressing both buttons will not do anything.
    2. If the above setting is set to “ON,” the below settings will become possible:
      • Indication of the set used when holding down R2 and then L2 (set number + left/right)
      • Indication of the set used when holding down L2 and then R2 (set number + left/right)

There are of course a lot of players who would like to have access to more actions even if it takes a bit of getting used to and these players can indicate the sets individually. Likewise, there are other players who just want a slight increase in the actions they can access, and these players can switch to the same set by pressing the buttons in either order.

*Naturally, even when changing your hotbar button via button customization, this setting can be used with the buttons that you changed to.

Now then, on to the second question.

When indicating the set number, it’s possible to indicate the actual number and the orientation. You can also input a static number and it’s possible to set the number that is selected when you press both buttons to vary depending on the set you are currently on.

Specifically, amongst the setting choices for the set switch when pressing both buttons, you can select from “Next set number of the current set” and “Previous set number of the current set.”

For example, let’s suppose you make it so it you push L2 and then R2, and set “left” for “Next set number of the current set.”
    • If what is currently displayed is set 1:
→Pushing both buttons will result in the left portion of set 2.

    • If what is currently displayed is set 5:
→Pushing both buttons will result in the left portion of set 6.

    • If what is currently displayed is set 8:
→Pushing both buttons will result in the left portion of set 1.

If you set the controls so you have to push both at the same time and indicate “right side of set 4,” regardless of what set is currently displayed it will always display the right side of set 4 when you press the buttons.

    EDIT:
Cross Hotbar/Gamepad settings are in dire need of a setting to completely remove "lock-on" from the configuration entirely.

To disable the lock on feature from your gamepad settings simply do this:
    Go to-
    Menu>System>System Configuration>Gamepad settings>Gamepad customization-Calibration>Begin

once you get to the joy stick "L3" button simply press "Skip" and it removes the button completely from the option of doing any action.

Yay! and sorry Devs, perfect UI. I guess people just need to learn how to use it haha.

Thankfully, they already implemented this for 2.1
