This really needs to be fixed. It is really hard to see the rod in certain lighting or background even a message in chat would help. I know there is sound to let you know but having sound on is not always possible.

Just let the dang thing glow in the dark...doesn't need to be lit up during the day. The darker it gets the brighter it glows.

Now, I haven't read this whole thread so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not but if you are a user who uses a controller (I use controller on PC) and your controller has vibration on it and you turn the function on in the game, your controller will vibrate when you catch a fish. I know this doesn't help users that play with a keyboard but I thought I'd mention it for those who do use a controller.

We understand that there have been comments mentioning that it’s difficult to see fishing rods when they are cast depending on the time of day, lighting, and other factors, and that there have been requests to make the tip of the rod shine when you hit a fish. While we do not have any plans at the moment to implement something like this, we will be keeping an eye on the requests and look into it.

On a side note, in patch 2.1 we will be making it so fishing rod movement varies depending on the size of the fish you hit.

Any word on us ever getting a tacklebox? I think the lack of a tacklebox/absolute gouging of our inventory by baits/lures is a far bigger issue than the rod.

Couldn't agree more and I would be all for something like this. The fish we catch takes up enough space in our inventory as it is.

I don't see an issue with the duration on stat pots but the shared CD with other pots needs to go. I don't know what an elixir has to do with a stat potion.
