Results not typical? Perhaps. But the fact remains that nobody likes to feel stupid or admit their mistakes and "lag" is a convenient excuse for some people to use considering how it actually does affect others.
Yeah, I've been in groups where someone in the party gets hit by landslide and automatically they bust out "Man I was totally out of that" when me and other people noticed that in fact they moved to late. With that said, I don't doubt some people have lag issues but people blaming the lag when they clearly messed up is getting out of hand.
