Titan is hard because your camera isn't zoomed out, not because of server-side delays

We often hear opinions that Titan is too hard, but looking a people who were participating in the Titan Challenge we held at multiple events, not only dragoons, but everyone in general had their cameras zoomed in quite a bit. I believe this is because in FFXI and FFXIV 1.0 you couldn't zoom out very far, but in order to dodge different attacks in high level encounters in FFXIV: ARR, it’d be best if you zoom your camera out to the maximum distance.

This made me lol and facepalm.

Granted, I don't have a lot of problem with Titan personally, but I won't use my ability to adapt to a terrible situation to try to justify that situation.

How long are they going to put their head in the sand about the delay issue and not acknowledge it exists?

The "delay issue" is a problem with ISPs, not the game. A number of people, including myself, dont have any lag.

FYI you either have a horrible connection or have never played any other AAA title. I get higher pings in WoW and GW2 vs this game (80 in wow vs 20 in realm reborn) and every action in WoW is virtually instantaneous. I don't get any noticeable delay. I can pretty much mount up in this game while running and it doesn't even cancel until the cast bar is almost 100%. Even starcraft in the 90s on dial-up didn't have the latency this game does.

yeah I play with a husband and wife combo and quite often one lags and one is fine

I have 25 ms and still notice the "delay issue". I have the best ISP in my area, which is a mid-east metropolis. My connection to the server could only be better if I moved an hour away to right next to server locations, yet I experience the same "delay issue" everyone else is. Stop being a fanboy, stop vehemently denying all these unmistakeable flaws, all you will serve to do is give SE an excuse to not fix them.

I am using 20M but there is no way I will say that I have a perfect connection. My 20M internet is using routers with quite number of wirless device. Everytime I am doing Titans I have to reset router and make sure there is no donwloading. Never said that there was no server delay. There is, but it is not the main reason why Titan HM turns into a face smashing roadblock. On a lot occassions people are just using server delay as an excuse.

Yup! And that is exactly why every single game i play online does not have this issue, just FFXIV. Next excuse please!!!

The way players connect to each game maybe different. Some isp might not handle some games well, but others better.
