I have my camera zoomed all the way out and my controls set to legacy, yet when I dodge certain attacks, I still get hit by them when I'm clearly outside of the danger zone by the time the attack goes off. So yeah, it's not always that simple.

Sometimes I have to reboot my router but that usually clears up my lag problems.
I have 25 ms and still notice the "delay issue". I have the best ISP in my area, which is a mid-east metropolis. My connection to the server could only be better if I moved an hour away to right next to server locations, yet I experience the same "delay issue" everyone else is. Stop being a fanboy, stop vehemently denying all these unmistakeable flaws, all you will serve to do is give SE an excuse to not fix them.
I dunno what issues everyone else seems to be having. Whenever I've been hit by landslide, it's almost always been because of my own error. I rarely get hit by them because of lag and even then it's because of my own connection failing me. Every other time, when I haven't messed up, I've been able to dodge just fine.
Results not typical? Perhaps. But the fact remains that nobody likes to feel stupid or admit their mistakes and "lag" is a convenient excuse for some people to use considering how it actually does affect others. (I'm not saying the lag doesn't exist, only that there are a large number of incompetent players using it as an excuse.)
Yeah, I've been in groups where someone in the party gets hit by landslide and automatically they bust out "Man I was totally out of that" when me and other people noticed that in fact they moved to late. With that said, I don't doubt some people have lag issues but people blaming the lag when they clearly messed up is getting out of hand.I dunno what issues everyone else seems to be having. I am using 20M but there is no way I will say that I have a perfect connection. My 20M internet is using routers with quite number of wirless device. Everytime I am doing Titans I have to reset router and make sure there is no donwloading. Never said that there was no server delay. There is, but it is not the main reason why Titan HM turns into a face smashing roadblock. On a lot occassions people are just using server delay as an excuse.I have 25 ms and still notice the "delay issue". I have the best ISP in my area, which is a mid-east metropolis. You are not going to see the person move during a lag spike, or sometimes my fc people will see me run in place instead of actually moving out. The lag means that the servers aren't registering your movements, so the game is obviously not going to display those movements to the others playing the game.Yeah, I've been in groups where someone in the party gets hit by landslide and automatically they bust out "Man I was totally out of that" when me and other people noticed that in fact they moved to late. Because when people don't move out of the attack or wait until the attack is nearly completed before trying move, it hits them and they still say "lag!", they're probably full of crap.
Unless you mean to say your connection has been running fine up until the moment Titan uses Landslide, Ifrit uses a Plume, Garuda uses Mistral Shriek, etc. etc. and that the game decided to suddenly screw you at the moment of that attack...multiple times in a fight...across many runs...
The thing about this server issue is that everyone is affected by it. It isn't localized to just a handful of people. We all use the same servers and we deal with the same issues. But some are able to play fine while others don't? This is more of a skill gap than a horrifying lag catastrophe.
