    Mr Yoshi needs to stop patting himself on the back for that promotion and put his "big boy" pants on and answer us already.

    Thanks for posting that video, it helps to see it from someone who is not having the problems. Could you make another video please, I want to see what happens with autofollow.

    1. Get someone/friend to target you and /follow
    2. Start Fraps and swing your camera view around so you can see them
    3. Now start running forward
    4. After about five seconds stop and wait for them to catch up to you and stop
    5. Stop Fraps

    If we can get videos of this from people who are not having problems dodging AoE's then maybe we can see a difference in /follow - which uses the positional updates.

    this seems computationaly unfeasable to me but i could be wrong, however if you reversed it, server sends timestamp of when things are going to happen on the server this could work. couple that with the client sending a pos update immediately upon leaving a danger area and you would have a pretty responsive experience, internal server lag and race conditions not withstanding, its not really that hard to fix

    i think them changing it from 500 to 300 shows that they know whats going on and are working towards fixing it, would be nice to have an update on this though, should be their top priority after server stability, exploiters etc etc

    please don't bring up customer service. its near on non-existent for the issues they do address anything not getting attention can spend eternity waiting to be dealt with otherwise.

Such low temporal resolution (~300 ms) in a modern day mmo is totally unacceptable, anyone who has played a Black Mage can see that things are not WAI or at least as advertised by playing around with astral/umbral stacks and that has nothing to do with cast bars or movement.

    Usually the reason to not have the client doing it is fear of hacking. It is much easier to hack your client than the server. As I pointed out your client lacks the ability to interrupt a spell the moment it detects movement, even though casting while moving is an impossibility. If it lacks authority to do that, you can be sure it won't have the authority to decide if you got hit or even where you are.
