    THANK THE TWELVE belts don't show in this game. I love this fact and it's going to be a huge plus when vanity slots are implemented. Ever try to find a matching belt that didn't make your robes look like a bathrobe? Ewwwww, NO to visible belts!

    I have to disagree on this, the visible belts and the variety of them allowed the players to add a touch of personality to the character. I liked using the belt types that had all the pouches (you now see these integrated on DoL body pieces) on my CNJ/WHM so it looked like she was fully prepared with spell components and such (I'm an ex UO player, I still like the idea of using reagents to cast spells XD) compared to the simple ropes or sashes.

    That said, I don't blame the devs for doing away with the belts (it was one of the first changes in 1.x, in fact) because even with the gear that was originally available it never animated correctly. They simply never put the work in to verify that all belts worked with all outfits. So my awesome Batman utility belts always clipped through my darn robes, especially WHM AF.

    Thinking of animations, try to find video of a 1.x Roegadyn walking. Many body pieces, if you look at the base of their backs, animated as if they still have tails.
