did you tell them that they were depriving you of the 'true experience' before they started talking down to you?

did you tell them you wanted the other 7 people to wait for you to watch your cutscenes because your time is more valuable than the 7 of theirs combined?

if i was in that group, that would probably set me off too, and i would probably talk down to you.

then again, when i DF cm, i do it as a tank, and i bring a healer from my fc with me - so we couldn't really care less who does/doesn't skip cutscenes, we're clearing ahead regardless

but if someone is in cm for their first time, and they start getting lippy about me going too fast, i will probably respond, and it probably won't be polite.

Yes, because this is World of Warcraft and the story is certainly not the most important aspect of this game. Futhermore, this game also teaches us lorewise to behave like our enemies, the Garleans.

Not to mention, it is certainly faster and more hardcore to use duty finder than to form your own group.

The development team is aware that the benefits for defeating regular monsters in high level dungeons are not proportionate to the effort. They are also aware that dungeon runs can also be filled with players with conflicting goals (like enjoying the story versus doing a farming/speed run) that leads to it being difficult to enjoy the content. They feel that improvements in these areas are needed and are currently working on countermeasures for this.
