Why did you skip the cutscenes? That was your choice.Ruined the entire ending of the main story for me. I was completely and absolutely deprived of the true experience. They totally ruined the entire mood and atmosphere. Yet these same people had the nerve to talk down upon me (with profanity and other name-calling of course) when truthfully, they're the ones that are entirely in the wrong.
I Can’t Believe It, Miqo'te got some ass, I wanna see it. Roegadyn got a ass, It ain’t a secret.
HC NEET represent!
...is basically what I see in all your posts.
You can try to rationalize blatant selfishness and impatience all you want, but at the end of the day you're just another voice whining "I want, I want, I want, me, me, me, me, me!!!" You entered the dungeon because there is something you want from it. You want to get it as fast as possible, and apparently you think that gets you off the hook for refusing to respect other players and act as a team. You seriously can't make somebody's day by granting them an extra few minutes? Whatever time you "save" by running ahead without all your party members is just going to be taken back anyway, due to the lower DPS.
That "blame game design" bunk isn't fooling anyone. "Speed runs" are not a thing. It's just a name we give to people who are in a hurry to get what they want. It's a luxury for when your party members are already familiar with the dungeon, not the default expectation. When you enter Duty Finder, you are agreeing to play with random players who may not have done the dungeon before. That carries with it the implication that if somebody needs to do the story, you will allow them that opportunity and won't be an a-hole about it. If you can't tolerate the possibility of rolling with random newbies, then don't voluntarily enter a queuing system where you might get random newbies. It's really that simple.
You all are funny lol.
did you tell them that they were depriving you of the 'true experience' before they started talking down to you?Ruined the entire ending of the main story for me. I was completely and absolutely deprived of the true experience. They totally ruined the entire mood and atmosphere. Yet these same people had the nerve to talk down upon me (with profanity and other name-calling of course) when truthfully, they're the ones that are entirely in the wrong.
did you tell them you wanted the other 7 people to wait for you to watch your cutscenes because your time is more valuable than the 7 of theirs combined?
if i was in that group, that would probably set me off too, and i would probably talk down to you.
then again, when i DF cm, i do it as a tank, and i bring a healer from my fc with me - so we couldn't really care less who does/doesn't skip cutscenes, we're clearing ahead regardless
but if someone is in cm for their first time, and they start getting lippy about me going too fast, i will probably respond, and it probably won't be polite.
I tell ppl to watch all the CS they want. The runs can be low manned really.
When my FC pugs for dungeons if needed, we never mind people watching cut scenes. Its not a big deal. And that includes speed runs, I'd rather show people the same courtesy I was given my first time.

Following that logic, try explaining to the judge that the reason you were speeding is because the car manufacturer made a car that could exceed the speed limit. The minute they made the end game dungeons the best available source of Tombs, they MADE it intended to be speed ran. And regardless of what you, me, or anyone else says, there will always be people who watch the cutscenes (which is fine), and those who finish the dungeon without them.
Blame game design for end game stories giving tombs.
the devs havent even replied to the 100 of threads on this very subject. Good grief.
This thread is much more enjoyable when I imagine you are all talking about losing your virginity instead of literally arguing semantics for twelve pages.
look me up if you need help with the early end game i don't mind waiting wile you view cutsceansI dread the day I'll reach end game.
How much flak I will get for wanting to experience the game's story as it was meant to be experienced....
I will try to find some people to do that with, doing it with randoms has little chance of success.
Honestly, to all those joining random CM/etc and wanting FAST RUNS, don't, go do your own damn groups and don't be a prick and ruin the huge amount of new player's experience.
When joining a random DF group you should NOT expect first timers to skip their story scenes, they're much more entitled to their first experience (they will only do it ONCE in their character's life time for f sake) than you are to your fast run.
Bleah, posts like this leave me in a bad mood.
